About me

My professional path began in the airline industry, where I learned the importance of precision, empathy, and cross-cultural service. I later joined the Australian Embassy’s Department of Home Affairs as a Case Officer. I was also handpicked to join a 6-week business project in Fiji as a Subject Matter Expert. There, I was one of the testers on an international team, responsible for designing test scenarios and identifying system defects to ensure the new visa processing system aligned with Australian Migration Regulations.

After years of helping clients navigate complex visa systems, I founded Goya de Hoog Consultancy to provide personalised, transparent, and ethical migration and education services. I work closely with licensed migration agents to ensure every application is handled with the highest professional and legal standards.
